Definitely here it is! The solo project of singer and songwriter Marina Salamon.  After band projects like “Silk & Steel” and “ThirdPole” in the last two years she started with an exciting solo program with elements of folk, country, blues and jazzy acoustic Pop.

Marina - living in the north Saarland is a singer and songwriter with an unusual, dark voice – she plays her own compositions, accompanied with the guitar - versatile, dense guitar arrangements, which can hardly be compared.  In often very individual Songs she tells painfully beautiful stories about love, hope, losses and small things happening in daily life.

Occasionally her melancholic songs remind of Tracy Chapman... (as the critics say) far away from the standard radio mash. Painful-beautiful songs like Midnight Choir, goose skin effects as with Ricky Lee Jones and a voice impressing and intensive like Beth Hirsch. Acoustic Pop-ballads with a very special jazz aura - an impressive note, which makes addicted.  Influenced by early Genesis, Beatles and all other wonderful records of Nick Cave, Sara K. and Goldfrapp, being stored in the disk cabinet.

The lyric depth of her songs combined with Marinas expressive, strong, dark voice and the unorthodox guitar arrangements arises a unique sound. All songs have earworm qualities - striking, without being shallow - authentically told by Marina - small stories, to which you listen with pleasure.
